32. CLEANING THE SUCTION TUBE
Whenever suction seems to be unsatisfactory, check that the suction tube is not obstructed. If
necessary clean with a jet of water as follows:
1. Deactivate the main switch (1) by turning it to “OFF”
2. Lift the squeegee by means of the cable control lever (2)
3. Remove the suction hose from the squeegee nozzle
4. Make sure the dirty water recovery tank is empty; if necessary, empty it completely
5. Remove the cover from the dirty water recovery tank (3)
6. Clean the tube with a water jet inserted from the side where it enters the tank (4)
7. Reassemble all the elements
WARNING: before carrying out any type of maintenance, put the main switch
on “OFF” and disconnect the machine battery connector (battery-operated
version) or disconnect the power supply cable from the mains socket (electric
version).
WARNING: These operations must be carried out using gloves to protect
against contact with dangerous solutions
