A software update has NOTHING to do with a scan for
new TV channels. For this purpose, please initiate an
automatic channel scan.
Via a software update you can load new system software
if service is needed. An update via the satellite ASTRA
19.2° East or the RS232 interface on the rear side of the
receiver is possible.
