Capacitors replacement
The out of service capacitors are easily identified by the overpressure device elongation. Visually the capacitor will be taller than
the active ones (see Fig. 7).
Every time the capacitors are replaced, it is recommended the simultaneous replacements of the Faston terminals and
of the discharge resistors
6. Spare parts
The capacitors to be replaced can be obtained from local distributors or directly from COMAR Condensatori SpA. The type and
code of the capacitor are written on its nameplate.
All the other components are easily obtained from any electrical component retailers. Make sure to install identical components.
As an alternative contact the Comar Condensatori Spa customer service, reporting the equipment serial number
7. Dismantling and disposal
The dismantling must be performer by qualified personnel.
Capacitors, components and enclosures disposal must be managed in compliance with the European
Directives, and / or in compliance with the local regulations.
Comar Condensatori spa is not responsible for improper disposal, which remains in charge to the owner of
the equipment. In the European Countries disposal must be done in compliance with the European Waste
identification Code (EWC 2002)
All capacitors are PCB free and contain castor oil.
8. Warranty and liability
Product warranty
COMAR Condensatori S.p.A. guarantees its products for 12 months from the delivery date.
Warranty covers any equipment failure directly caused from component or assembly defect. Disconnection, packaging
and shipping of components/equipment to and from the COMAR facility remain at customer charge
Warranty doesn’t cover any failure caused by misuse (see chapter 1)
Failure to comply with one of the recommendations written in this manual and in the attached documentation
or referrenced to, will void the warranty.
Liability
COMAR Condensatori S.p.A. is not responsible for any direct/indirect damage and/or people injury caused by
equipment failures due to misuse (see chapter 1), incorrect installation, wrong placement, not suitable
environmental conditions, electrical grid fluctuations as for example overcurrent, overvoltage (including transitory
phenomena), improper technical characteristics of the equipment for the intended use,
