Step 6 - Connecting to a power supply
The Mariner X2 requires a 12V power supply typically provided by
the vessel's battery.
It is recommended that crimped and soldered lugs are used to
c
onnect the Mariner X2 to the power source.
It is recommended that the power supply is connected via a suitable
c
ircuit breaker and/or 3A fuse block.
1. Connect the red wire to a 12V power supply positive terminal.
2. Connect the black wire to the supply negative terminal.

!
Do not use a 24V power supply with the Mariner X2.
Should a 24V supply be connected to the Mariner X2,
an internal protection system will be invoked and the
Mariner X2 will not operate as normal. However, no
permanent damage will be caused to the Mariner X2.
The Mariner X2 will operate as normal once connected
to a 12V power supply.
