1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the top cover (Section 5.10).
3. Remove the two screws securing the hard drive to the base
assembly
➊ (Figure 5-17).
4. Lift up the right side of the hard drive
➋, and then pull the hard drive
to the right
➌ to disconnect it from the TouchPad assembly.

5. Remove the hard drive.
Reverse the removal procedure described above to replace the hard drive.
