Security Management
Setup Password Allows you to establish Setup
(administrator) password, controlling
access to Computer Setup.
Advanced Allows you to disable USB ports,
serial ports, parallel ports, and
network controller.
System Information
Processor Lists CPU type, maximum speed, and
presence of coprocessor.
System Parameters Lists asset tag and serial number,
which are already assigned to the
computer.
Allows you to specify ownership tag,
which is displayed during POST.
Quick Boot Allows you to enable Quick Boot,
which is faster than Full Boot, but
does not run all of the diagnostic
tests that are run during Full Boot.
You can choose to:
• Use Quick Boot every time
(default).
• Use Full Boot every time.
• Use Full Boot periodically
(specify interval from 1 to 31
days).
