TROUBLESHOOTING 6-27
REASSEMBLY
OF
MOTORIZED
VALVES
Verify that the
valve is in the
closed position.
The position of
the ball opening
is indicated by
the index on top
of the shaft.

Slide the actuator
straight down
over the valve
shaft and onto the
mounting plate,
with the “R” side
facing up. On
MS40-703 mod-
els, the rotation
switch must be in
the “R” position.
Align the actuator
with the mount-
ing plate, then
slide the anti-
rotation clip half
way into the slot
on the bottom of
the actuator.

Tighten the wing
nut to secure the
anti-rotation clip
in place. Be care-
ful not to over-
tighten the wing
nut.

Clip with 2 Holes
(NYBA-200)
Using a 10 mm
wrench or socket,
evenly tighten the
two nuts on the
shaft clamp,
applying 8 to 10
lb-ft (11 to 14 N-
m) of torque.
