1. Make sure you read and understand the instruction manual.
2. Some national or local laws may require the bicycle to be equipped
with an alerting device, like a bell or a light, if you are going to use the
bicycle at night.
3. Always wear appropriate footwear.
4. Check the brakes regularly. When it rains, roads get slippery and
therefore you should avoid sudden turns and increase your braking
distance.
5. Replace bent or broken spokes and the wheel rims if they get bent or
damaged.
6. Adhere to all trafc regulations.
7. Stay on the regulation side of the road. Follow the direction of trafc
in a straight line close to the kerb.
8. Ride the bicycle alone unless you are using a model designed for
more riders, like a tandem. Never carry passengers. This is dangerous
and makes the bicycle more difcult to control.
9. When you ride with another person or in a bigger group, go in single
le on the regulation side of the road. Keep a reasonable distance
between each cyclist.
