INSTALLER’S INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Electrical Connection Notes
WARNING: The Continuum V2532W must be electrically grounded in
accordance with local codes or in the absence of local
codes with the most recent edition of the National Electrical
Code, ANSl/NFPA 70 and/or the CSA C22.1, Electrical Code.
Do not rely on the gas or water piping to ground the metal
parts of the water heater.
CAUTION: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing
controls. Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous
operation. Verify proper operation after servicing.
1 The Continuum V2532W requires
120VAC/60 HZ. Power from a properly
grounded circuit.
2 An on/off switch must be provided and
installed for the incoming 120VAC
power.
3 Wire the Continuum V2532W exactly as
shown in the wiring diagram on the
next page and on the inside of the
cover panel. The black wire is the hot
leg wire; the white wire is the neutral
wire.
4 A ground terminal screw is provided in
the junction box for the grounding
connection (see diagram).
Your disconnect switch should be a type
that is suitable for outdoor use. Check
National Electrical Codes for proper type
switch to use in your area.
