Following these simple steps will allow you to measure the
vibration frequency of the belt. This value is independent of
span or mass values but is very useful as an index for belt
system maintenance, sometimes the only number you will
need. For example, the MaximizerPro™ drive analysis program
gives tensioning targets in Hz as well as in force units (newtons
and pounds-force).
For tensioning results in units of force, follow the procedures
defined in Section 5.0.
