2.1 Prerequisites for Installation
Site
• Does the combi steamer fit through
passageways and doors? Indication
for minimum measures of a unit on a
pallet without packing.
• Unit dimensions (Width x Depth x
Height) with packing (in mm) see
below.
• Installation site surface
– The installation surface must be
even and level.
– The installation site must be able to
hold the weight of the unit (see
below) and the maximum load (see
Operator's Manual).
• Climate conditions at the installation
site:
– Must be in accordance with Work
Place-Decree!
– The area temperature must only be
+4°C to +35°C.
– Do not operate in a poisonous or
explosive atmosphere.
– Do not operate outdoors without
protection from rain.
• Do not place the combi steamer near
cooking units such as fryers or units
baking with grease etc.. There is a
high risk of burns to the user when
water sprays in hot grease.
A safety distance must be
maintained from grease holders or
fryers (the working radius of the
hand shower).
• For sea water conditions, use special
units with option ‚marine version’.
• Do not install the unit next to flammable
materials. The local fire safety
regulations must be adhered to!
2.2 Transport to Installation
site
• Transport on pallet only!
• Unit should be moved in upright
position!
• An inventory/packing list is under the
top of the packing carton.

• Remove all cartons, packing material,
documents, labels, containers and
loading trolley etc. from the oven.
2.3 Remove unit from the pallet
• Using a high lift truck, lift combi
steamer from the pallet. Do not tip!
• If necessary, use a low lift platform
truck or forklift for bringing the unit into
the right position.
• Before picking the unit up with a forklift
or low lift truck, it is necessary to pay
attention to the correct position of
the lifting forks (stay right of drain (C)
and unit overflow (M)!)
