How to fix a coolbreeze Accessories unit that is not working?
    • B
      Brian JohnsonAug 12, 2025
If your coolbreeze Accessories unit is not working, ensure the power plug is correctly connected. If it is not, connect it properly. Also, verify that the POWER button is set to “ON”. If it's “OFF”, press the POWER button to turn it “ON”. Check the fuse in the mains plug; if it's blown, replace it with a 13amp fuse. Examine the fuse in the board and exchange it if it has blown. Check if the breaker on the switchboard has tripped; if so, assess the load capacity and reset it. Finally, make sure the ambient temperature is not too high; use the unit only below 45°C (or 40°C for HSC-3500 models).

If your coolbreeze Accessories unit isn't cooling effectively, start by checking the filter for dust blockage and clean it if necessary. Next, inspect the heat exchanger for dust and clean it as well. Ensure there are no obstacles blocking the inlet side, and provide at least 50cm of clearance. Also, make sure the ambient temperature is not too high; the unit should be used below 45°C (or 40°C for HSC-3500 models).

If your coolbreeze Accessories unit displays an AF error (Anti Freezing), it indicates that the evaporator is frozen, likely because the ambient temperature is below 20°C. To resolve this, operate the unit continuously until the “AF” error disappears, or switch to “FAN” mode.
