Troubleshoong
Somemes an operaonal fault can be mistaken for a malfuncon or failure. Please check the follow-
ing points to see if you can nd the symptoms of your issue before you get in touch with your retailer or
Authorised CORD™ Service Center. If you cannot locate the issue please contact your nearest retailer or

SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Plaer Does Not Rotate: Power cable is unplugged. Plug cable securely into wall outlet.
No Sound: RCA Audio cables incorrectly
plugged into your Amplier / Re-
ceiver.
Plug RCA Audio cables into the
proper PHONO or LINE input of your
Amplier / Receiver. Refer to Page 8.
RCA Audio cables are not connected
properly.
Connect cables securely to the
PHONO or LINE input jacks of your
amplier. Refer to Page 8.
Headshell is not properly aached. Firmly secure tone arm locking nut.
Refer to Page 5.
Cartridge lead wires are loose. Aach lead wires inside head shell
properly. Refer to Page 13.
Amplier is not being operated
properly. Eg: Funcon switch, tape
monitor switch, speaker switch, etc.

Music Tempo Is Incorrect: Plaer speed is not set properly. Refer to operaon of speed selec-

Excessive Noise: Tracking force is not correct. Refer to tracking force adjustment
procedure on page 10.
Dust or dirt has collected on the
stylus p.
Clean the stylus p with a so brush
designed for this purpose.
Dust or dirt has collected on the
record.
Clean the record with a specic
record cleaner or record brush.
Sound Is Distorted: Dust or dirt has collected on the
stylus p.
Clean the stylus p with a so brush
designed for this purpose.
Tracking force is not correct. Refer to tracking force adjustment
procedure on page 10.
Stylus is worn. Replace stylus. Refer to Page 13.
Ampliers tone controls are set too
high.
Set tone controls to lower posion.
Refer to operang instrucons.
Tonearm Does Not Lower: Cueing Lever is set to UP posion. Set cueing lever to DOWN posion.
Intermient Sound: Tracking force is not correct. Refer to tracking force adjustment
procedure on page 10.
Stylus is worn. Replace stylus. Refer to Page 13.
Record is scratched or warped. Replace your record.
