Precauons
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Power sources:
This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the rear panel rang
label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local
Power Company.
Venlaon holes:
If objects are placed on top of this unit, the heat generated inside may not be able to dissipate properly.
This will cause the internal temperature to rise and will adversely aect the performance of the product.
Remember that a great deal of heat can be generated when this product is used for long periods of me.
Installaon Locaon:
Do not install the unit in any of the following locaons as this may result in a deterioraon in perfor-
mance or malfuncon:
Locaons exposed to direct sunlight or near objects radiang heat such as heang appliances.
Locaons exposed to moisture or humidity.
The stylus cartridge is very sensive and may pick up slight sound pressure or vibraons from your
loudspeakers which can travel along the oor or through the air resulng in feedback or howling
sound. Find a locaon which is very stable and vibraon free to reduce interference.
The feet on the base of the unit funcon for both dampening and height adjustment. Adjust the feet
to stabilize the main body securely and horizontally level.
Operang Temperature:
This unit may not perform at its best in an extremely hot or cold environment. The opmum
ambient temperature range of operaon is between 5°C ~ 35°C.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS:
Always clean the stylus both before and aer playing a record with a so brush designed specically
for cleaning stylus. Also remember to clean the record with a suitable brush on both sides before
and aer each use.
Be careful not to make the turntable vibrate while a record is playing as this can result in damage to
the stylus and the record.
When changing over the headshell, clamp the tone arm to the arm rest so that the tone arm sha is
not strained in any way.
Place only one record at a me on the plaer. If two or more records are stacked on the plaer, the
stylus will not make proper contact with the grooves, and this will impair the quality of audio repro-
ducon and cause damage to both the stylus and the record.
Volale liquids must not be used to clean any part of this unit, such as solvents, alcohol, paint thin-
ners, etc. The use of such liquids may remove or damage the painted nish. Please avoid.
