ou par les actions suivantes : démontage, modification, mauvaise utilisation,
négligence, abus, usure normale, défaut de suivre les directives, mauvais
entretien, installation et entreposage inadéquats, utilisation de pièces ou d’acces-
soires non autorisés ou incompatibles, accident. L’utilisation d’accessoires ou de
pièces qui ne sont pas autorisés par CORE
MC
Outdoor Power, ou de pièces et
d’accessoires incompatibles annulera la présente garantie. De plus, la présente
garantie ne couvre PAS les dommages additionnels sur les pièces ou les acces-
soires qui ont été utilisés après qu’une panne de fonctionnement ou des problèmes
soient survenus. En cas de problèmes ou de panne de fonctionnement, ARRÊTEZ
d’utiliser le produit et expédiez-le tel quel
à un centre de services agréé par
CORE
MC
Outdoor Power, pour obtenir des services conformément à la garantie.
Périodes de garantie du produit :
Utilisation résidentielle
x Garantie de 5 ans – Tous les produits utilisés à des fins résidentielles
[c’est-à-dire personnelles, familiales ou domestiques] et non lucratives sont
couverts par la présente garantie limitée de cinq (5) ans, à partir de la date
d’achat originale.
EXCEPTIONS :
o Les piles et les chargeurs CORE
MC
sont couverts par la présente
garantie limitée en cas de mauvais fonctionnement causé par un
défaut de matériau ou de fabrication pendant une période de un (1)
an à partir de la date d’achat originale. Si une pile ou un chargeur
est retourné chez un marchand agréé et celui-ci, après inspection,
juge qu’un réglage couvert par la garantie est nécessaire en raison
d’un défaut de matériau ou de fabrication
[et la pile n’est pas
simplement DÉCHARGÉE], la pile ou le chargeur sera remplacé
gratuitement (les taxes ou autres frais imposés par les lois sont en
sus, s’il y a lieu).
o Les accessoires de coupe du fil en polymère du taille-bordures
utilisés à des fins résidentielles et sans but lucratif sont couverts
par la présente garantie limitée en cas de mauvais fonctionnement
causé par un défaut de matériau ou de fabrication
pendant une
période de soixante (60) jours à partir de la date d’achat originale.
En cas de mauvaise utilisation (contact avec béton, roches, métal
ou autres structures), les accessoires ne sont PAS
couverts par la
présente garantie.

Do not use or charge the Power Cell if it
is wet or shows any evidence of
corrosion.
WARNING: Leakage from the
Power Cell may occur under extreme
usage, charging or temperature
conditions, or if the Power Cell is
damaged, crushed or punctured. This
leakage indicates a failure of the Power
Cell and the Power Cell should be
properly disposed of per local
hazardous material regulations.
If this leakage gets on your skin, or
eyes follow these steps:
1. Wash skin immediately and
thoroughly with soap and water.
2. If liquid gets into your eyes, flush
immediately with clean water for a
minimum of 20 minutes and seek
immediate medical attention.
If the liquid gets onto your clothing or
shoes, remove, isolate and wash the
contaminated clothing thoroughly.
Do not wash, splash or immerse a
Power Cell in water or other liquids.
Keep the Power Cell out of the reach of
children and away from persons not
fully familiar with these instructions.
Do not expose the Power Cell to heat or
fire. Do not incinerate the Power Cell. It
can explode and emit hazardous fumes.
Do not store or use the Power Cell in
locations where the temperature may
reach or exceed 105°F (40°C) such as
in outside sheds or metal buildings, tool
boxes, vehicle interiors or trunks during
summer. Avoid storing the Power Cell in
direct sunlight.
For air, vessel and ground transport
purposes, Lithium ion Power Cells are
classified as Class 9 Hazardous Goods,
subject to ICAO Technical Instructions
and IATA Dangerous Goods
Regulations and US Department of
Transportation and Transport Canada
Hazardous Material Regulations [HMR]
[and other applicable national
regulations]. Such Power Cells are
restricted from being placed in checked
in baggage and are subject to shipper
declarations, standards, quantity and
packaging regulations. Confirm with the
ground, vessel, air cargo or passenger
air travel service provider as to the most
current regulations to determine if your
lithium ion Power Cells are prohibited,
or subject to restrictions or exemptions
prior to shipping or travel with your
lithium Power Cells.
Do not remove the Power Cell from its
original packaging until it is required for
use.
Always keep the Power Cell clean and
dry. Wipe the terminals with a clean dry
cloth if they become dirty.
Storage Recommendations:
The best storage place for Power Cells
is a secure and safe place that is cool
and dry and away from direct sunlight
and excess heat or cold. Exposure to
excess or prolonged heat will degrade
the performance and the life expectancy
of the Power Cell.
Do not use an extension cord. Plug the
charger cord directly into an electrical
outlet.
