1.5.1 Blocking the Body

The machine is equipped with a device to block the body in the raised position and
to pre- vent it from lowering accidentally.
Before carrying out any repair maintenance work with the body raised, always block
the piston following this procedure (see fig. 2):
•
Lift the skip;
•
Shut off the engine;
•
Remove the safety device "RED", in the back, on the lower right side of the
skip; remove it by unscrewing the knob "B";
•
Insert the slots "A" of the bar close to the hydraulic cylinder;
•
Turn the bar is parallel to the cylinder;
•
Insert the pin "C"
•
Pull down slowly with the engine off the skip until the interlocking device
•
Afterwards remove the device and put it back in its slot.
