4) Unfasten the three nuts that hold the wick guide in place. Remove the wick guide by pulling
it up.

5) Pull the wick ra 1smg the support bracket to the right and remove the wick and the wick holder
from the wick guide tube.
6) Detach the old wick from the wick holder and fit a new one in it.
To attach the wick
a. Adjust the gap of the wick to fit in the wick raising bracket of the wick holder.

Note: The misalignment of the wick gap with the wick raising bracket may result in damage to
the glow plug or its failure to function.
b. Put the wick fi ttings (three) into the recesses (three) in the wick holder.

c. Press the wick against the wi ck holder catches letting it stick on the catches making it fit
evenly in the inner wall of the holder. Use care not to develop wrinkles and bulges.
