LIMITED
WARRANTY-------
This limited warranty is extended
to
the original retail purchaser of this Corona heater and
warrants against any defects in materials or workmanship for a period of
12
months from the
date of retail
sale. CORONA U.S.A. CORP. will assume responsibility
to
repair or replace, at
our discretion, any component or unit found to be defective for this reason
if
the claim is
made within a
12
month period. (Shipping costs are not covered by this warranty.)
This warranty does not cover
the
following:
1 . Equipment not used or maintained in conformity with
the
instructions included with the
heater or damage incurred after the
sale.
2. Use of improper fuel. This warranty is void
if
any fuel other than clean, water-clear kerosene
(ASTM 1-K) or synthetic fuels for use with kerosene-fired portable heaters, is used.
CORONA U.S.A. is
not
responsible for the availability
of
good quality fuel
in
your area.
3. Batteries.
4. Wicks.
5.
Ignition plugs.
6.
Siphon pumps.
7. Any breakage or damages incurred through misuse.
8. Use of unauthorized or non-standard parts and accessories.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS GIVEN
TO
THE
PURCHASER
IN
LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES,
EXPRESS
OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
TO
THE WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS
FOR
A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.
THE REMEDY PROVIDED
IN THIS
WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS GRANTED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER REMEDIES. IN
NO
EVENT WILL CORONA U.S.A.
CORP.
OR
CORONA CORPORATION BE LIABLE
FOR
INCIDENTAL
OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitation may not
apply
to
you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of inci-
dental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
CLAIMS HANDLED AS FOLLOWS:
1 . Contact your dealer or the nearest Authorized Service Center and explain your problem.
2.
If they cannot resolve the problem, write CORONA U.S.A. detailing the heater model, the
problem, copy of the
sales receipt showing date of purchase. Send letter
to
the attention
