      Uneven browning can occur for several reasons: * The oven wasn't properly preheated. * Aluminum foil is on the oven rack or bottom. * The baking utensil is too large for the recipe. * Pans are touching each other or the oven walls. To resolve this, replace old baking utensils that have darkened and warped with age and use.
