Tools and Parts
Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation. Read and
follow the instructions provided with any tools listed here.
Tools Needed
• Level
• Drill with 5/32" (4 mm) and 5/16" (8 mm) drill bits
• Pencil
• Tape measure or ruler
• Phillips screwdriver
• Hand gloves
Parts Needed
For ducted installations, you will need:
• Duct system
• Duct clamps or HVAC foil tape
• Caulking gun and weatherproof caulking compound
For ductless (recirculating) installations, you will need:
• Charcoal filter kit. See the "Optional Parts" section to order.
