Usage Features
The ice maker's control panel includes the following buttons and indicators:
- POWER: Power switch. Press to turn the machine on/off. When plugged in, the source indicator flashes. Pressing POWER turns the power indicator light on, and the machine initiates a de-icing function before starting ice production based on the selected mode.
- SELECT: Mode selection button. Allows selection between small and large ice sizes. The default setting is large ice production. The corresponding indicator light illuminates for the selected size.
- CLEAN: Cleaning button. Activates a 4-minute cleaning cycle where the motor and pump circulate water.
- ICE FULL: Ice full alarm. Flashes when the ice basket reaches maximum capacity, and the machine stops. Ice needs to be removed for the machine to automatically restart.
- ADD WATER: Water shortage alarm. A red light indicates insufficient water in the reservoir. Water must be added, and the POWER button pressed to restart the machine.
Operating Instructions:
- Step 1 (Adding Water): Open the lid, remove the ice basket, and add water to the reservoir. Ensure the water level does not exceed the "MAX" mark. If overfilled, drain excess water using the bottom drain plug.
- Step 2 (Starting the Machine): Plug in the power cord and press the POWER button.
- Step 3 (Selecting Ice Size): Choose the desired ice size (small or large) using the SELECT button.
- For indoor temperatures below 15°C, small ice is recommended.
- For indoor temperatures above 30°C, large ice is recommended.
- The first three cycles may produce small and irregular ice.
- When the ice basket is full, remove the ice immediately to prevent overflow.
Important Notices for Use:
- Always read instructions before use.
- Remove all packing material and inspect the ice maker for damage.
- Before first use, wait 2 hours after positioning and keep the transparent lid open for at least 2 hours.
- Spring water is recommended; pure water is not allowed.
- Ensure voltage compliance and proper earthing.
- Do not upend or incline the product over a 45° angle.
- Keep the appliance at least 8cm from other objects for proper heat release.
- Do not use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not store explosive substances in the appliance.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Avoid frequent switching of the power button (allow at least a 5-minute interval) to prevent compressor damage.
- Do not insert metal sheets or other electric objects into the appliance.
- The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced capabilities, with supervision and instruction. Children should not play with the appliance.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning & Use Guidance:
- Regular Cleaning: Frequently clean the inner liner, ice collecting tray, water box, ice shovel, and evaporator. Unplug the unit and remove ice cubes before cleaning. Use a diluted solution of water and vinegar for internal and external surfaces. Do not spray with chemicals, acids, gasoline, or oil. Rinse thoroughly.
- Ventilation: Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction. Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting unless recommended by the manufacturer.
- Restarting after Idling: If the machine has been idle and the "ADD WATER" indicator lights up due to insufficient water for the pump, press the POWER button again to resume normal operation.
- Water Change: To ensure ice cleanliness, change the water in the reservoir at least once a day. If not used for a long time, drain the water and clean the unit.
- Compressor Delay: If the compressor stops due to water shortage, full water, or power interruption, it will delay for 3 minutes before restarting.
- Fresh Water: Always use fresh water before starting ice production, especially after initial installation or a long shut-off period.
Troubleshooting:
- Power Failure/Ice Jam: If power is lost or the power button is pressed during ice making, small ice chips may jam the automatic shovel. Disconnect the power cord, gently push the shovel to the rear, remove ice chips, then restart.
- Ice Shovel Malfunction: If the ice shovel cannot remove ice, check if the water reservoir is flat. If not, gently push the shovel with a finger, then press POWER to restart.
- Compressor Abnormal Noise: If the compressor works abnormally with a buzzing noise, it may be due to low voltage. Stop the ice maker and do not restart until the voltage is normal.
- Water Shortage Indicator On: This indicates no water or air in the pump. Add water to the MAX position and press POWER to restart.
- Indicator Lights Off: Blown fuse or no power. Replace the fuse or turn on the power.
- Ice Too Large/Sticking: Water temperature is too low, or previous ice cycles are left in the water tray. Select small size ice or remove existing ice.
- No Ice Output (Procedure Correct): Compressor has no refrigerant, compressor damage, or fan motor damage. Call service hotline.
- All Indicators Twinkle Simultaneously: Water box blocked by ice, motor stuck/off/damaged, or micro switch damage. Unplug, remove blocking ice, plug in, press POWER (machine restarts after 3 mins). Or call service hotline.
- Machine Always Working/Water Always Warming: Solenoid valve has failed. Replace the solenoid valve.
- Ice Full Sensor Malfunction: Ice full sensor damage or solar ray interference. Replace the sensor, move indoors, or call service hotline.
Warnings:
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified qualified person to avoid a hazard.
- Fill with potable water only.
- The compressor and condenser surface can reach high temperatures (70°C-90°C) during operation.
- "Cloudy" ice cubes are normal due to trapped air and do not affect quality or taste.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water.
- Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
- Disposal: This product should not be disposed of with other household waste in the EU. Dispose of it at an authorized waste disposal center due to flammable refrigerant and insulation blowing gas. Do not expose to flame.
