Water is not heated
Y
Is the
electrical outlet voltage AC
187V - 253V?
Water is not heated.
Is the hot
water selection switch ON?
Y
Is the FND water
temperature indicator flashing?
N
Are the water
level lamps on the indication
part all turned off?
N
The hot water thermistor
is abnormal.
Y
If the measurement value
is outside the allowed
error range, the hot water
sensor is faulty.
N
The hot water selection
switch is not turned on.
Turn the hot water
switch ON.
Check the hot water
sensor connector
(OPEN, SHORT).
Replace the hot water
sensor.
N
Is the
resistance value
of the hot water sensor in
the heater operating condition?
(18.599KΩ or lower)
The bimetal contact is
faulty.
N
Replace the bimetal.
Y
Is the
contact of the hot
water tank bimetal short?
(Disconnect the power cord from
the electrical outlet and
check)
Y
Is the heater
resistance the rated value
(23.25Ω)?
If the measurement value
is off the specification, the
heater is faulty.
N
Replace the heater.
Display of thermistor abnormalities
- If the thermistor contact is faulty, the hot water
temperature indicator flashes.
Sensor resistance per heater temperature
1) Heater OFF temperature: 93°C or higher resistance
value ±3%(16.845kΩ)
2) Re-operating temperature: 88°C or lower)
Resistance value±3% (19.833kΩ)
Measuring the heater resistance
1) Separate the heater terminal from the PCB.
2) Measure the resistance when the surface of the heater
is the same as the room temperature.
Y
Is the PCB
voltage AC 220V ?
Check the PCB and
replace it if necessary.
Purified water quantity is
short.
Y
Replenish the purified
water.
