5. COLD level control specification
Cold water temperature Compressor control Remark
7.3°C or higher ON 114.042kΩ
4.5°C or lower OFF 130.351kΩ
6. Cold water temperature sensor error display
1) Cold water temperature sensor open/short circuit
- Only C1 on the FND flashes.
- The compressor output is turned off.
2) When the hot cold temperature sensor is in normal operation, the FND and the compressor
operate according to the cold water temperature.
7. Overcooled water sensing
1) When the cold water temperature is 0°C (162.5kΩ) or lower, the water is deemed overcooled and
the following measure is taken.
- The compressor output is turned off.
2) When the cold water temperature is 4.5°C (130.351kΩ) or higher the overcooling sensing is
cancelled. The compressor operates according to the cold water temperature.
8. Compressor and heater operation control with intervals
1) When the compressor and heater operate at the same time, there will be at least 1-second
interval between them.
9. Cooling safety shut-off function
1) Operating conditions of cooling safety shut-off function
- When the compressor is in continuous operation for 150 minutes, the compressor output is
turned off regardless of the cold water temperature to prevent overcooling and freezing.
- The compressor resumes operation according to the cold water temperature 5 minutes after the
output is turned off.
2) The compressor resumes operation according to the set cold water coltrol specification 5 minutes
after the output is turned off.
- The compressor is turned on when the cold water temperature reaches the compressor-on
temperature (7.3°C).
- The compressor stays off when the cold water temperature is between the compressor-off
temperature (4.5°C) and compressor-on temperature (7.3°C).
3) When the compressor is in continuous operation for 130 minutes, the compressor is turned off if
the cold water temperature is 5°C or lower.
10. Fine control of cold water temperature (Hardware)
1) Increasing the control temperature
- The control temperature can be increased by 0.5°C (≒3.0kΩ) by cutting the C/T UP jumper.
2) Decreasing the control temperature
- The control temperature can be decreased by 0.5°C (≒3.0kΩ) by cutting the C/T DOWN
jumper.
