    Why is my Crane EE-5201A Humidifier's blue light on but there is no mist?

      If your Crane Humidifier's power indicator light is blue but no mist is coming out, first, ensure the Water Tank has water. Then, check for obstructions blocking the mist output and inspect the Fan Vent at the humidifier's bottom to ensure it's clear. Rinse the Humidifier Base with cool tap water. Finally, examine the Water Level Sensor and Heating Element for mineral deposits.

      If your Crane Humidifier has stopped, the blue light is off, and a small red light is on, turn the humidifier off using the Control Knob and unplug it. Then, empty the humidifier base, turn it over, and press the Reset Button on the bottom.

      If your Crane Humidifier doesn't have power, ensure it's properly plugged into a power outlet and that the Control Knob is turned to the ON position. If the Power On indicator light still doesn't illuminate, contact Crane Customer Care.

    How to get rid of strange odor from Crane Humidifier?

      If there is a strange odor coming from your Crane Humidifier, clean the Water Tank with a water and vinegar solution, then rinse with clean water. Afterwards, leave the empty Water Tank open (without the Water Tank Cap) in a cool place for a while.
