Crossfire XS-8K - TROUBLE SHOOTING; NO OUTPUT; AMPLIFIER SHUT DOWN (PROTECTION); DISTORTION & NOISE

prevent any damages from misuse or faulty conditions.
If XS-8K & XS-8X sense excessive heat, short circuited speakers DC, or voltage the protection indicator
to check the problem, you should turn all levels down
for wiring mistakes or short.
If XS-8K & XS-8X shut down due to excessive heat, they will remain in thermal protection until amplier reaches
normal operating temperature. Before removing your amplier, refer to the list below and follow the sugguested
proceedures.
AMPLIFIER SHUT DOWN ( PROTECTION )
XS-8K & XS-8X have a minimum working impedance of 1ohm as single unit. Strapped connection is 2 ohm
Check speaker wiring and reverse polarity.
DISTORTION & NOISE
Check all ground connections of all other audio equipment.
POOR BASS RESPONSE
NO OUTPUT
or no turn-on voltage, there is no sound.
Check remote turn-on voltage at amplier and headunit, when remote turn-on voltage is low
Check fuses at the battery side or external fuses and all wire connections.
Check RCA Input is properly connected.
Please check POWER, GND and REMOTE wire connection and other wires properly connected.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
When DC is over 4V at input, try by replacing head-unit or source.
XS-8K voltage protection at low and high is 8.5V ~ 16V, XS-8X is 8.5V ~ 18V.
Make sure Chassis and Remote use same GROUND.
on after it cools down. Please install amplier in a better ventilated area.
