Channels #1 Sets the input type for each channel, links on the
to #4 terminal PCB must also be set to the appropriate
positions (see section 2.8 for details).
Type
Values = Unused No detector connected
DET 4-20 SRCE 4-20mA current source gas detector
DET 4-20 SINK 4-20mA current sink gas detector
FIRE 4-20 SRCE 4-20mA current source flame detector
Channels # FIRE 4-20 SINK 4-20mA current sink flame detector
1 to #4 Cont. FIRE CONV Conventional smoke/heat or call points
ESU ESU sampling device
PELLISTOR mV Pellistor input modules and detectors only
Name Detector name (e.g. CH4 for methane, O2 for
Values = 4 character string oxygen, FIRE for smoke/heat detectors)
Location Optional. Detector location or tag, will be shown
Values = 32 character string on the message display if an alarm occurs
(e.g. Boiler Room).
Units*
Values = None E.g. for an ESU channel
%LEL For flammable channels
PPB Very low range toxic gas detectors
PPM General toxic gas detectors
%VOL Oxygen or other high volume gases
FIRE Flame or conventional smoke/heat detectors.
Range*
Values = 0 to 9999.9 Detector range (e.g. 100 for a flammable detector).
Zero suppression (ZFS)*
Values = Enabled Applies suppression to the first 3% of scale to
Disabled prevent small deviations from zero being displayed.
If the Level 1 alarm for a channel is set below 8%
of full scale, the level of suppression is reduced.
Interpret 2mA*
Values = Fault Some gas detectors produce a 2 mA signal to
Warning indicate a certain state.
Inhibit This option determines how Gasmaster interprets
a signal between 1 and 3 mA.
Stab time Inhibits the input for preset time after Gasmaster is
Values = 0 to 120 seconds powered-up to prevent false alarms while the sensor
is settling.
Fire reset time** Time for which power is removed from smoke/heat
Values = 0 to 30 seconds detectors when the Accept/Reset button is pressed.
