10.1. EDITOR HOMEPAGE, GLOBAL OPTIONS.
The first page of the editor is dedicated to some global settings and operations such as the
firmware update and factory reset.
The settings are:
Tuning: This accepts a range from A=430 Hz to A=450 Hz, with 440 Hz being the
default value. Every time this setting is changed, a reboot is required in order for the
new change to take effect.
Channel: the MIDI channel used for sending and receiving all messages. If incoming
messages are on a different channel, they'll be ignored. This can also be set to OFF, in
this case the Seven won't send or receive any MIDI message, but it will still send
when it's set to Local-off mode.
Alt. Channel: this is the
alternative
Channel that can be used only when the
instrument is set in Local-off mode and is only for sending messages.
Send CC: select YES to send all CC messages whenever a control is changed on the
panel or in the editor; select NO to avoid sending CC messages.
Send PC: select YES to send Program Change messages whenever a new preset is
recalled; select NO to avoid sending them.
