20.7. DIGITAL REVERB.
This is a great sounding digital reverberator with plenty of parameters to emulate a wide variation of rooms and other reflecting virtual
environments. The knob on the panel adjusts the LEVEL and the DECAY time. Other parameters include:
DAMP: amount of high frequency loss over the decay time
DIFFUSION: amount of regeneration due to reflections on the walls
PRE-DELAY: time before the first reflection takes place
ROOM SIZE: max size of the virtual room
HIGH SHELF: high-pass filter applied to the input signal
LOW SHELF: low-pass filter applied to the input signal
20.8. PAD.
More than an effect, this is a virtual analog synthesizer that can play on top of any piano sound, thus obtaining an overlay between a
piano and a synth pad. The only parameters here are the LEVEL and the BLEND, which can morph between two sound characters:
lower values lean towards a cold and thin sound, higher values lets you obtain a warmer, darker and a softer sound. This parameter
changes a whole set of internal elements such as low-pass filter, oscillator detuning and chorus. When the knob is set to display the
BLEND parameter, it changes color between blue (cold) and red (warm).
