Why won't my Cub Cadet Trimmer engine start?
    • A
      Andrea RobinsonJul 27, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Cub Cadet Trimmer from starting: * The fuel tank may be empty. If this is the case, fill the fuel tank with properly mixed fuel. * The primer bulb may not have been pressed enough. Press it 10 times or until fuel is visible. * The engine might be flooded. Move the choke lever to Position 3, squeeze the throttle control, and pull the starter rope. * The fuel could be old (over 30 days) or improperly mixed. Drain the fuel tank and add fresh, properly mixed fuel. * The spark plug may be fouled. Replace the spark plug.
