  If steam escapes from the underside of the Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker lid, it could be due to a Silicone Sealing Gasket issue. Try cleaning the Silicone Sealing Gasket, cooking pot rim, and lid. If the Silicone Sealing Gasket is dirty, replace it. Alternatively, remove the Silicone Sealing Gasket and re-install it following the instructions.
