Sweet Shortcrust
150g plain fl our
Pinch of salt
50g caster sugar
75g butter, cut into 2.5cm pieces
1 egg, beaten
Insert the large chopping blade into the medium work bowl. Add the fl our, salt, sugar
and butter replace the lid and process until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Remove the small pusher and with the appliance running, gradually pour in the egg
through the small feed tube and process until a ball of dough is formed.
Wrap the pastry in cling fi lm and refrigerate for 30 minutes before use.
