WARRANTY
ThiswarranlyappliestotheFilterHousingsonly.It doesNOTapplytoanydisposablefiltercartridge,
whichhasa lifeexpectancythatvarieswiththewaterbeingfiltered.Thiswarrantycoversdefectsin
materialsandworkmanshiponlyforfivefullyearsfromoriginaldateofdelivery.Culliganwillreplace
anypartwhichinCulligan'sopinionisdefective,unless:(1)anypartofthesystemhasbeensubjected
toanytypeoftampering,alteration,orimproperuseafterdelivery,or(2)anypartofthesystemhas
beenrepairedbyanyonenotapprovedbyCulligan.Ourobligationdoesnotincludethecostofshipment
ofmaterials.Culliganisnotresponsiblefordamageintransit,andclaimsforsuchdamageshouldbe
presentedtothecarrierbythecustomer.
Thisproducthasbeendesignedsolelyforuseasa housingfora disposablefiltercartridge.ItisNOT
warrantedagainstfreezing,andneitherthisproductnoritspartsiswarrantedagainstdefectsordeteri-
orationcausedbyusesforwhichthisproductwasnotexpresslyintended.
THEFOREGOINGWARRANTYISEXCLUSIVEANDINLIEUOFALLOTHERWARRANTIES,EXPRESSEDOR
IMPLIED,WHETHERORALORARISINGBYUSAGEOFTRADEORCOURSEOFDEALING,INCLUDING,
WITHOUTLIMITATION,ANYWARRANTIESOFFITNESSORMERCHANTABILITY.THISWARRANTYISTHE
PURCHASER'SSOLEANDEXCLUSIVEREMEDY.INNOEVENTSHALLCULLIGANBELIABLEFORANY
ANTICIPATEDORLOSTPROFITS,INCIDENTALDAMAGES,CONSEQUENTIALCHARGESOROTHERLOSS-
ES,WHETHERBASEDONBREACHOFCONTRACT,TORTIOUSCONDUCTORANYOTHERTHEORY,
INCURREDINCONNECTIONWITHTHEPURCHASE,INSTALLATION,REPAIROROPERATIONOFTHE
OPAQUEFILTERHOUSING.CULLIGANDOESNOTAUTHORIZEANYONETOASSUMEFORITANYLIABIL-
ITYORMAKEONITSBEHALFANYADDITIONALWARRANTIESINCONNECTIONWITHTHEOPAQUEFIL-
TERHOUSINGORANYPARTTHEREOF.

odreferredtoabove.
