Remove the snap ring on the other side of the piston
using pliers.
Remove the piston ring from the piston using piston
ring tool, Part No. 3823137.
If the bushing is worn, the connecting rod must be
replaced.
Inside Diameter: 30.00 mm [1.18 in]
NOTE: Keep the pistons, connecting rods, bearings,
piston rings, piston pins, and bushings in
sets for each cylinder number.
Main Bearing Cap
Rotate the cylinder block so that the bottom of the
block is facing up.
