Installation Guidance

PRO INSTALL TIME: 30 MIN. NOVICE INSTALL TIME: 60 MIN. INSTALLATION TIPS: 1. BEFORE YOU BEGIN INSTALLATION, READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY.

Required Tools

INSTALLATION REQUIRES: List of tools including safety glasses, lubricant, ratchet, sockets, torque wrench, and screwdriver.

Installation Walkthrough Steps

Parts List

ITEM QTY PART NUMBER DESCRIPTION 1 6 M10 - 1.25 x 30 HEX BOLT 2 6 7/16" CONICAL TOOTHED WASHER.

Step 1: Prepare Wheel Wells

Remove the (3) Phillips screws and (2) Phillips push pins from each fender well. Pull the wheel well liner gently away.

Step 2: Lower Exhaust System

Lower exhaust by removing rubber exhaust hangers from hanger rods in (1) location on the passenger side.

Step 3: Optional Canister Removal

Optional - For ease of install. Remove the (3) nuts that hold on the canister. Use a flat blade screwdriver to disengage clips.

Step 4: Mount Hitch Assembly

Raise the hitch into position and align holes. Secure with 7/16" conical toothed washers and M10 hex bolts. Torque to 48 ft-lbs.

Step 5: Reinstall Exhaust and Canister

Raise exhaust back into position and secure to vehicle hanger. If canister was removed, raise and reattach it.

Step 6: Reattach Liners and Finalize

Reinstall splash shields into wheel wells. Trimming of driver's wheel well liner may be required.
