8 Troubleshooting guide
Electric Shock Hazard
• th following procedures are to be performed
only by a qualifi ed service technician.
Disconnect power when replacing
components. Lock out and tag the circuit
breaker on units without a power plug.

Scald and Burn Hazard
• Keep body parts clear of hot surfaces during
toubleshooting.
8.1 Troubleshooting Guidelines
• If an error message appears on the display, consult
the Error Codes section before troubleshooting.
• A brewer that is not level may not function properly.
Make sure the brewer is properly leveled before
proceeding.
• This troubleshooting guide identifi es some, but not
all, of the possible causes for common problems that
can occur.
