Purpose
The purpose of this manual is to discuss the installation and use of
your 16-port 10/100Mbps NWay Ethernet/Fast Ethernet Switch.
Terms/Usage
For simplicity, this documentation uses the term “Switch” (first
letter upper case) to refer to the DES-1016D Switch, and “switch”
(first letter lower case) to refer to all switches, including the DES-
1016D.
