enable stp
Purpose
Used to globally enable STP on the Switch.
Syntax
enable stp
Description
This command is used to globally enable the Spanning Tree Protocol on the Switch.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator level, Operator level or Power User level users can issue this
command.
Example usage:
To enable STP, globally, on the Switch:
DES-1228/ME:5#enable stp
Command: enable stp
Success.
DES-1228/ME:5#
disable stp
