show vlan 
Purpose 
Used to display the current VLAN configuration on the Switch 
Syntax 
show vlan [<vlan_name 32> | vlanid <vidlist> | ports <portlist> ] 
Description 
This command is used to display summary information about each 
VLAN including the VLAN ID, VLAN name, VLAN Type, the 
Tagging/Untagging status, and the Member/Non-
member/Forbidden status of each port that is a member of the 
VLAN. 
Parameters 
<vlan_name 32> − The VLAN name of the VLAN for which to 
display a summary of settings. 
vlanid <vidlist> − Specifies a range of multiple VLAN IDs to be 
displayed. 
ports <portlist> − Specifies a port or range of ports that will be 
displayed. 
Restrictions 
None. 
Example usage: 
To display the Switch’s current VLAN settings: 
DES-1228/ME:5#show vlan 
Command: show vlan 
VID             : 1           VLAN Name       : default 
VLAN Type       : Static      Advertisement   : Enabled 
Member Ports    : 1-28 
Static Ports    : 1-28 
Current Tagged Ports   : 
Current Untagged Ports : 1-28 
Static Tagged Ports    :
