Internet Setup
3G Mobile Connection
If you want to connect your router to the Internet through a 3G mobile service, navigate to USB SETTINGS and select
SETUP. The USB SETTINGS screen will display. Select 3G USB Adapter from the My Plug of USB type is eld and
click Save Settings. The INTERNET CONNECTION TYPE screen will display as seen below:
Select your country from the list.
Displays the name of your Internet Service Provider
(ISP).
Enter a username. This eld is optional.
Enter a password. This eld is optional.
Enter the dial-up number.
Choose the authentication type from the drop-down
list. The default setting is Auto.
Enter a name for the access point. This eld is
optional.
Select Always-on, On-Demand, or Manual. to
reconnect to the network.
Enter the maximum idle time during which the
Internet connection is maintained during inactivity.
This function does not apply if you have selected
Reconnect Mode as Always on.
You may need to change the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) for optimal performance with your specic ISP. 1492 is
the default MTU value.
