Inspection of Ring Gear
Replace the ring gear when wear of damage is
found.
If the ring gear tooth are broken or excessively
worn, the ring gear must be replaced.
¥ Disassembly of Ring Gear
Disassemble the ring gear with a hammer and a
chisel.

Assemble of Ring Gear
1) Make thermal expansion as heating ring gear.
Pay attention that temperature of ring gear is not
higher than 200ûC.
2) Assemble ring gear to flywheel as tapping with a
hammer when it is heated enough.

Rear Oil Seal
Disassemble oil seal from fly wheel with proper tool.
Assemble the oil seal to fly wheel housing with oil seal
installer.

Front Oil Seal
Remove the oil seal with a hammer.
Assemble the oil seal with a assemble jig.
