Why is my Daewoo DSB-122L Air Conditioner compressor not turning on?
    • V
      vjohnsonJul 31, 2025
If the compressor of your Daewoo Air Conditioner doesn't turn on and there is no cool air, remember that when the unit is first plugged in, it delays turning on for 3 minutes, so wait for it to operate. The same delay occurs if the unit is turned off and immediately back on. A dirty or clogged air filter can also cause this, so clean or replace the filter(s). Ensure the unit isn't near a heat source and that doors or windows are closed. Also, remove any obstacles in front of the intake or indoor unit, and make sure the thermostat is not set too high.

What to do if my Daewoo DSB-122L has no power?
    • E
      elizabethpetersonAug 8, 2025
If your Daewoo Air Conditioner has no power, it might be due to a power failure; try restoring the power. The line voltage could be too low, in which case you should contact an electrician to install a new outlet. Ensure the unit is fully plugged in and turned on. Also, check the remote's batteries and replace them if they are weak or dead. Finally, make sure the EMERGENCY/REMOTE switch is set to REMOTE.

Why does my Daewoo DSB-122L Air Conditioner have no remote operation?

If your Daewoo Air Conditioner remote isn't working, first replace the batteries, as they may be weak, dead, or inserted improperly. Ensure you are within range of the unit and aiming the remote directly at the sensor. Also, check for and remove any obstructions between the unit and the remote.
