If an “Ed” error is encountered
on startup, verify that the
electric heater DIP switches
have been set to the appropriate 
heater size. See Tables 9 and 10 
for the heater kit airow delivery
and DIP switch settings.

Installation Location

Upflow Installation

For upflow, remove drip shield, side drain pan, and extension if needed; use primary drain port.

Horizontal Left Installation

For horizontal left, use primary drain port (B); consider Condensate Management Kit for high humidity.

Downflow;Horizontal Right Installation

For downflow, use mandatory downflow kit (DFK) to prevent pan sweating.

Refrigerant Lines

Tubing Preparation

Cut tubing ends to be round, burr-free, and clean to prevent refrigerant leaks.

Tubing Connections

Connect EEV liquid and suction lines, braze joints, and quench with water or wet rags.

Condensate Drain Lines
