the refrigerant, oil and other parts MUST comply with applicable legislation. Units
MUST be treated at a specialised treatment facility for reuse, recycling and recovery.

16.1 To recover refrigerant
When disposing of the outdoor unit, you need to recover its refrigerant.
To ensure that no refrigerant remains trapped in the unit:
Make sure the stop valves are open (a, b).
Make sure the electronic expansion valves (Y1E, Y3E) are open.
Use all 3 service ports (a, b, c) to recover refrigerant.

Y3E Electronic expansion valve (injection)
To recover refrigerant when power is OFF
1 Make sure the stop valves are open.
2 Manually open the electronic expansion valves.
3 Recover refrigerant from the 3 service ports.
To recover refrigerant when power is ON
1 Make sure the unit is not running.
2 Make sure the stop valves are open.
