6 Removal Procedure
5. Vertical Blade ASSYs
Warning

Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before
disassembling work.
Step Procedure Points
1 Release the right and
left shafts.

Some models have fan
guards. Remove the fan
guards beforehand.

The unit has 3 sets of
vertical blade ASSY linked to
one another with interlock
rods.
For models which have no
swing motor for vertical
blades, the 3 sets of vertical
blade ASSY are not
interlinked.
2 Unfasten the 3 hooks
for each set of vertical
blade ASSY (9 hooks).
3 Pull out the vertical
blade ASSYs to the
right and remove them.
