Indoor unit

The HEAT operation stops suddenly
and a fl owing sound is heard.
•Theoutdoorunitistakingawaythefrost.
TheHEAToperationstartsafterthefrostontheoutdoor
unitisremoved.Youshouldwaitforabout4to12minutes.
Operation does not start soon.

When “ON/OFF” button was pressed soon
after operation was stopped.

When the mode was reselected.

Youshouldwaitforabout3minutes.
The fl ap does not start swing
immediately.

•Therefrigerantowsintheairconditionerevenifthe
airconditionerisnotworkingwhentheindoorunits
inotherroomsareinoperation.

•Thissoundisgeneratedwhentheowofthe
refrigerantintheairconditionerisswitchedover.

Ticking sound

Thissoundisgeneratedwhenthesizeoftheairconditioner
slightlyexpandsorshrinksasaresultoftemperaturechanges.

Whistling sound
•Thissoundisgeneratedwhenrefrigerantows
duringdefrostingoperation.

Clicking sound during operation or idle time
•Thissoundisgeneratedwhentherefrigerantcontrol
valvesortheelectricalpartsoperate.

Clopping sound
•
Thissoundisheardfromtheinsideoftheairconditioner
whentheexhaustfanisactivatedwhiletheroomdoors
areclosed.Openthewindoworturnofftheexhaustfan.
The outdoor unit emits water or steam.

In HEAT operation
•Thefrostontheoutdoorunitmeltsintowaterorsteamwhentheairconditioneris
indefrostoperation.

In COOL or DRY operation
•Moistureintheaircondensesintowateronthecoolsurfaceofoutdoorunitpiping
anddrips.
The air conditioner stops generating
airfl ow during operation.
•Oncethesettemperatureisreached,theairowrate
isreducedandoperationstoppedinordertoavoid
generatingcoolairow(duringheating)orinorderto
keepthehumidityfromrising(duringcooling).
Operationwillresumeautomaticallywhentheindoor
temperaturerisesorfalls.
