Is the safety
device's lead wire
correctly connected to
the outdoor unit
PCB?
NO
YES
Connect
correctly.
Is the stop valve fully
open?
Is the refrigerant
piping circuit clogged?
Replace the
clogged part.
Is refrigerant charged
to the proper level?
Charged to
specified level.
Is the compressor
defective?
Replace the
compressor.
Open the stop
valve.
Is the fan turning
correctly?
Has draft passage
been provided?
Provide the draft
passage
Replace the fan
motor.
Remove the
obstacles so the
fan turns
correctly, or
replace the fan.
Is power being properly
supplied?
(Voltage, open phase,
etc.)
Is the compressor
defective?
Replace the
compressor.
Provide suitable
power supply.
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before
connecting or disconnecting connectors, or parts
may be damaged.
Find safety device which
the contact is open.
Temperature of
compressor discharge
pipe is abnormally high.
Temperature of fan motor
coil is abnormally high.
Compressor current is
excessive.
