Method of Error Detection
The error is detected whether the resistance of thermistor
is abnormal or normal.
Error Decision Conditions
When a short circuit or an open circuit in the outdoor air
thermistor is detected.
Supposed Causes
îš„ Defective heat exchanger thermistor
îš„ Incomplete connection of heat exchanger thermistor
îš„ Defective outdoor unit PCB
Troubleshooting
Refer to P.460.

Connector is
connected to the
outdoor unit
PCB.
NO
YES
Connect
thermistor and
restart operation.
Resistance
measured after
remove thermistor
from outdoor unit PCB is
normal.
NO
Replace the
thermistor.
Replace the
outdoor unit
PCB.
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before
connecting or disconnecting connectors, or parts
may be damaged.
