Method of Error Detection
Detection of abnormal fan speed by signal from the fan
motor
Error Decision Conditions
The error is generated when the rotation speed of the fan
motor are not detected while the output voltage to the fan
is at its maximum.
For FCQ-C7, FAQ-BU
When fan speed does not increase
Supposed Causes
îš„ Defective indoor unit fan motor
îš„ Breaking or disconnection of wire
îš„ Defective contact
îš„ Defective indoor unit PCB
For FCQ-C7, FAQ-BU
îš„ Disconnection, short circuit or disengagement of
connector in fan motor harness
îš„ Defective fan motor (disconnection, poor insulation)
îš„ Abnormal signal from fan motor (defective circuit)
îš„ Defective Indoor unit PCB
îš„ Instantaneous fluctuation of power supply voltage
îš„ Fan motor lock
(Caused by motor or other external factors)
îš„ Fan does not turn due to a tangle of foreign matters.
îš„ The connector between the high-voltage PCB and the
low-voltage PCB is disconnected.
