Why is my Daikin Maverick I MPS H05C unit not running?

Your Daikin Air Conditioner might not be running due to several reasons: * The power could be off, or there might be a loose electrical connection. Check for the correct voltage at the compressor contactor in the control box. * The thermostat might be out of calibration or set too high. Try resetting it. * A contactor could have failed. Check for 24 volts at the contactor coil; replace it if the contacts are open. * Blown fuses or a defective transformer could be the issue. Replace the fuses. * The high-pressure control might be open (if provided). Check the wiring, replace the transformer, and reset. Note that the high-pressure control opens at 450 PSIG. * The low voltage wiring may be damaged. Replace the thermostat wiring.

What to do if my Daikin Air Conditioner has insufficient cooling?

If your Daikin Air Conditioner isn't cooling enough, consider these potential causes: * The unit may be improperly sized. Recalculate the load. * There might be improper airflow. Check that it's approximately 400 CFM per ton. * The refrigerant charge could be incorrect. Charge it according to the procedure attached to the unit's service panel. * There may be air, non-condensables, or moisture in the system. Recover the refrigerant, evacuate, and recharge, adding a filter drier. * The voltage might be incorrect. Ensure the voltage at the compressor terminals is within 10% of the rating plate volts when the unit is operating.

What to do if the condenser fan runs, but the compressor doesn’t, in my Daikin Maverick I MPS H05C Air Conditioner?

If the condenser fan in your Daikin Air Conditioner is running but the compressor isn’t, here are a few things to check: * There might be a loose connection. Check for the correct voltage at the compressor and tighten all connections. * The compressor could be stuck, grounded, have an open motor winding, or an open internal overload. Wait at least 2 hours for the overload to reset. If it's still open, replace the compressor. * There could be a low voltage condition. At the compressor terminals, the voltage must be within 10% of the rating plate volts when the unit is operating. You can also add start kit components.
