: If the parameter [HZU] = On, the heating support function is active provided the hot water
storage temperature ≥ (set value + current hot water target temperature).

HT Protect Setting determines the maximum permitted storage temperature for the SmartStart func-
tion, for which hot water generation is carried out to an increased target value (see [Exp delta
WW ] parameter).
Off: Hot water distribution system installed without scald protection. The excessive target value
of the hot water generation is limited to 60
°C.
On: Hot water distribution system with scald protection installed. The excessive target value for
hot water generation is limited to 85
°C.

Exp delta WW Setting determines the temporary excessive increase of the hot water target temperature
over the current target value for the SmartStart function.

BST Control Setting determines the minimum burner runtime for automatic activation of the SmartStart
function.
Off: No SmartStart function
10 - 600 s: If the burner runtime after a burner start at room heating is shorter than the set val-
ue, the SmartStart function is activated.

Max T-HS Defines the setting limit of the maximum temperatures in the heat generator (limit of [Max T-
Flow]).
N E 30 - 90 °C 85 °C 1 °C
max hysteresis Defines the maximum boiler hysteresis. The heat generator is switched off if the temperature
of the heat generator exceeds the target value by the set value.
N E 2 - 20 K 10 K 1 K
Hysteresis time Defines the runtime for reducing the boiler hysteresis. The boiler hysteresis is reduced during
the set time by the set value of the maximum hysteresis to a value of 2.0
K. If the hysteresis
time is set to 0, the heat generator is controlled with the fixed hysteresis set in the [max hys
-
teresis] parameter.
N E 0 - 30 min 4 min 1 min
HS off time Defines the restart lock time of the burner in heating operation. It is intended to prevent high
cycling (burner on/off) during low heat consumption (e.g. transition period) and reduce the
amount of burner starts. If the burner is switched off in heating operation because the boiler
temperature has exceeded the target value + hysteresis, the blocking time is started.
Even though a possible requirement is still pending (boiler temperature has undercut the target
value), the burner does not switch on until the blocking time has elapsed. A hot water require
-
ment is operated without delay and sets the current value of the blocking time to "0", where a
simultaneously pending heating requirement can be operated directly after the hot water gen
-
eration.

heat requirement.

Min Pressure Defines the minimum water pressure.
Pressure monitoring function (only with activated pressure sensor, [Pressure Config]=On, see
tab. 6-1): If the measured value undercuts the set value, the heat generator is switched off and
an error message is generated.
N E 0.1 - 5.0 bar 0.5 bar 0.1 bar
Max Pressure Defines the maximum water pressure.
Pressure monitoring function (only with activated pressure sensor, [Pressure Config]=On, see
tab. 6-1): If the measured value exceeds the set value, a warning message is generated.
N E 0.1 - 5.0 bar 3.0 bar 0.1 bar
Set Point Pressure Defines the target water pressure.
Pressure monitoring function (only with activated pressure sensor, [Pressure Config]=On, see
tab. 6-1): If the measured value undercuts the set value by more than the value set in the [Max
Pressuredrop] parameter, a warning message is generated.
N E 0.1 - 5.0 bar 0.9 bar 0.1 bar
Max Pressuredrop Defines the maximum acceptable pressure loss in the heating system.
Pressure monitoring function (only with activated pressure sensor, [Pressure Config]=On, see
tab. 6-1): If the measured value undercuts the value set in the [Set Point Pressure] parameter
by more than the set value, a warning message is generated.
N E 0.1 - 5.0 bar 0.5 bar 0.1 bar
T-Limit Exhaust : Flue gas limit temperature of the heat generator.
If the measured value exceeds the set value, a warning message is generated.
The burner is released again if the measured value has fallen below the set value by more than
10
K.
Locking fault: If the measured value exceeds 118 °C, the burner is switched off and an error
message is generated. The burner is released again if the measured value has fallen below
108
°C. If this case occurs 5x in an hour, the burner is switched off with locking and a fault mes-
sage is generated.
The burner only starts operating again if the fault has been manually unlocked. To do this, in
the event of a fault, a reset parameter is added in this parameter level, which must be set to
"On" and confirmed.
